How to Make Old Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie on a Stove
Aunt Lou here.
This Old Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie recipe is one I have loved since I was a child. I remember Momma making it when and waiting for it to cool. As a child, that hour felt like the longest hour ever! lol However, the reward of a delicious slice of pie was well worth the wait!
If you are from Indiana or close with someone from Indiana, you will probably know this as Hoosier Pie. It is a favorite in mine and Cris’ home state. Every family has a their own recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. This recipe is no different. Momma received the recipe from an older woman in our family and has passed the recipe down to Cris and I. While there are many recipes out there for this long time family favorite, every family believes theirs is the best. I just so happen to think ours is the best! Give it a try and see what you think! My guess is that you and your loved ones will love this tried and true recipe as much as we do!
