Independence Day Parade
Troutman Independence Day Parade: June 29, 2024 @ 11am.Help us celebrate our country's independence by viewing or participating in this old-fashioned, small-town parade with over 150 units of all kinds. No fee to participate.Parade Route: Begins at the Iredell County Fairgrounds and travels south on Hwy 21/Main St, and ends at Cedar Lane and The American Legion Building.2024 Grand Marshal:South Iredell High School's Marine Corps JROTC.Email award@troutmannc.gov with questions.
Preferred Method of Registration isonline. Paper applications are available as needed.
Free family event.Iredell County Fairgrounds.Fairgrounds gates will open at 6:30pm on 7/3 for spectators to gather blankets/chairs and find the perfect fireworks viewing spot on the midway. While you wait, we will have live music, food trucks, bounce houses, and fun for all! Hang around until full dark and enjoy the beautiful firework display! Fireworks will start approximately at 9:30pm or full dark. No dogs, no smoking, no alcohol.

Basketball Summer Camp
Troutman Parks & Rec along with DG Basketball Academy present Basketball Summer Camp 2024.Camp will take place at Troutman Middle School Gym, 305 Rumple St. Come out to learn basketball skills & techniques.$75 per person, includes a t-shirt.
July 8-11th, 9 am-12pm daily-This camp is open to 7-12 year olds.Sign up here to participate!
Youth Tennis Mini-Camp
Registration for this camp is full. Troutman Parks & Rec presents Tennis Mini-Camp, led by Donette Clendenin, on Friday, July 12th from 9am-12pm. This is open to children in grades 1st-5th, with a limit of 15 children.$30/per kid.
This camp will be held at the SIHS Tennis Courts, 299 Old Mountain Rd, Statesville.
Party in the Park- July 19
Friday, July 19- 6pm-9pm at Troutman ESC Park. 338 North Ave.Friends and neighbors gather on the lawn at Troutman ESC Park to enjoy live music, food trucks, adult beverages, bounce houses for kids, and lots of fun for the whole family!

Baseball Summer Camp
Troutman Parks and Rec with SIHS present Baseball Summer Camp July 29th-31st from 9am-12pm daily. Skill development, game fundamentals, and a fun environment!This is open to all kids grades 1st-8th. The camp will be led by the SIHS Baseball Coaching Staff.Please bring your equipment with you, along with a water bottle daily.Location:South Iredell High School Baseball Field

National Night Out
Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6-8pm atTroutman ESC Park- 338 North Ave. Troutman, NC.National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community partnership and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circ*mstances. This is a free event for everyone to attend.

Christmas Tree Lighting
Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting- Troutman ESC Park- 338 North Ave. Complete with cookies and hot chocolate provided by the Ruritan Club of Troutman, local school groups singing festive tunes, and Santa! Additional food trucks on site to purchase coffee, donuts, etc. Parking is available at Troutman ESC Park. Free event. December 5, 2024 at 6pm.
Christmas Parade

The route starts at Career Academy and Technical School, travels Old Murdock Rd, turns left on Eastway Dr, and ends at Troutman Baptist Church.

5/18/24, 6pm, Downtown Depot (137 S. Main St.) Join Troutman Police Department and Troutman Fire and Rescue in a family-friendly 5K along the Richardson Greenway- lit up in red and blue! All proceeds will go to the First Responders Children's Foundation and the Firefighters' Burned Children's Fund, Inc.
The Police Department has also added Back the Blue NC to their list of charities, which directly will help those families of the fallen officers in the recent tragedy in Charlotte. Register by 5/1 to guaranteed a t-shirt. Sign up here!
